The atmosphere was charming, with a really
welcoming vibe from the staff. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, although the stairs were quite steep—something to consider if you have mobility issues. The breakfast, while satisfying, could benefit from a few more options for variety.

Loved the family room—so spacious and clean!
The noise from other guests was unbearable, with loud creaks in the floors making it hard to enjoy any quiet. The heating was uncomfortably high, and I had issues with the pillows being too thick and uncomfortable. Parking was limited and not suited for larger vehicles, adding inconvenience for those with more to haul. Plus, I encountered connectivity problems with WiFi devices. my laptop wouldn't connect, leaving me tethering to my phone for internet access for the entire week.

The Hamilton in Chester had a lovely atmosphere and welcomed us like family. Our family room felt spacious and spotlessly clean, providing a great comfort for my wife, our 4-year-old son, and me. The staff were genuinely engaging with our son, discussing his day and making him feel special. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, setting a positive tone for our days. A notable downside was the lack of a proper double bed. instead, two single beds were pushed together, which was uncomfortable as they tended to separate during the night. The location was decent, approximately a 20-minute walk to the town center, but navigating the area could be easier with clearer signage for the hotel entrance.

The place was clean and tidy, which is a definite plus. Plus, the ensuite was decent, giving some comfortable amenities.
Noise transference from the floor above was a major issue—woke me up like a blaster bolt. The folding bathroom door didn't seal well for privacy, so I wouldn't count on that. There were also no towels to match the bathroom's expectations, which felt a bit lacking when it came to basic amenities. It was a hassle figuring out the check-in process since there was no reception staff. And forget about finding the hotel easily late at night. the entrance wasn't marked well. these issues hindered my stay quite a bit.

Spacious family room provided great comfort, and the fresh breakfast spread was a delightful start to the day. Despite being reasonably priced and conveniently close to the city, there were notable issues such as limited on-site parking and a lack of noise insulation that detracted from the experience. The check-in process could also use improvement as it lacked clear signage and staff presence.
